Electropermanent magnetic chuck

A complete magnetic machine bed machined from a single block of solid steel — poles defined by cut slots, with no epoxy to bulge, burn or leak. One impulse clamps the workpiece; it holds with zero power and shrugs off hot chips and coolant. Machine all five faces in one setup.

SafeBat

Battery electropermanent lifting magnet

A crane magnet with no cable and no external power. The battery only switches it on and off — the load is then held by permanent magnetism, so it stays gripped even if the battery dies mid-lift. Handles both flat plate and round bar.

The principle

Electric to switch. Permanent to hold.

Electropermanent magnets combine the control of an electromagnet with the safety of a permanent one. Power is spent only in the instant of switching.

01 · Pulse on

A brief impulse

A short current pulse aligns the reversible poles. No sustained supply — it lasts a fraction of a second.

02 · Hold

Zero-power grip

The permanent magnets now carry the full clamping force. Cut the power, pull the plug — the hold does not release.

03 · Pulse off

Reverse to release

A reverse impulse cancels the field and frees the workpiece or load, instantly and completely.
